Jim did great in surgery today! The doctor was able to save the nerves and the urinary tract. He's in recovery now. He says he feels like he was hit by a mac truck---good thing he's so tough!

Jim is on his way to NY

Friday Jan 25

All of Jims testing went fine. (thanks for your prayers, we were a little worried) He is good to go and will be flying out Saturday morning. He is very excited about Mat, Grandpa, Nancy, Kathy, Marge, Brenda, Connie, Jerry and Teensie coming to see him in NY. We are blessed with such a good family. We love you

Update on Jims Surgery 1/24/08

Jim was originally scheduled to fly out Friday (tomorrow) morning at 7:00 AM for NY. However, a blood test that Jim got back today indicated that there are high numbers on his liver enzymes which require further testing. He has an appointment tomorrow morning at St. Lukes for an abdominal CT scan and a bone scan. We are counting on the scans showing no additional problems. We are also hoping that good test results come back quickly so he can still make it to New York by Tuesday for his pre-op work and for surgery on Wednesday.
